  7.      Welcome to WeasNet News, Issue 1.  This is start of a brand new
  8.  net, and I know there's no body signed up yet, but with a little time,
  9.  patience, and posting, we can all make this net a great place!
  10.  
  11.     Well, there's not much to talk about, so I'll drop a little info on my
  12.  system.  Terminal One has been running a little over one year now.  We 
  13.  have about 350 users, and about 180 MB in 2500 files on-line.  We 
  14.  originally started the BBS using WWIV, and switched over to Wildcat in
  15.  July of '92, and it was a nice change I might add.  Before we switched 
  16.  over, we were hooked up to WWIV Net, and received quite a bit of netted
  17.  subs through it.  We carried WWIV as a door so users could still enjoy 
  18.  the net.  After a while, and with a little luck from the WWIV QWK Door 
  19.  and Tnet, we were able to get WWIV messages into Wildcat.  Now that we
  20.  had WWIV available in Wildcat, I decided to get hooked up into some other
  21.  nets.  Recently, we signed up to FloNet, a net based in Florida, with
  22.  some nice conferences to post on.  We're still looking for some new nets 
  23.  to sign up to, and we hope that the users will partake in the new message
  24.  areas.

  28.  HUBS NEEDED!!

  30.     We need some systems that are signing up to WeasNet to volunteer to 
  31.     be a hub and carry all the conferences which are available.  A Wildcat
  32.     BBS with a 9600 or 14.4 modem is very much preferred.  If interested,
  33.     please leave a note with me, Pete Nelson, on Terminal One.
